2026 Dues Drive...
Please note that our 2024 membership dues campaign is underway. Neighbors can pay online or by check. Dues for an entire year are $35, and go entirely toward the following things:
- Providing upkeep and beautification of the medians in the neighborhood ,
- Advocacy for our neighborhood's need for street and drainage repairs, as well as for other items of maintenance and safety Community events, such as the Independence Day parade and the annual rummage
- Communications and community connections via our quarterly newsletter, Facebook, this website, and emails to keep you informed of events and concerns
- Ensuring snow removal - our streets are not considered main streets, and so in the event of a heavy snowfall, are at a lower priority for city removal, but we contract for additional snow removal because our streets are main streets to US.
Write a check made out to Robinwood Neighborhood Organization.
The check can be mailed to James Glueck, 2409 N. Moors St, Muncie IN 47304.

Community Engagement Information
Many neighborhoods in Muncie participate in a coalition which is dedicated to improving the livability, safety, and sustainability for all residents. The NLC, one of the programs from MAP, holds monthly meetings to strengthen communication and access to resources, and also hosts the yearly IDEA. This seems nice, but what do all those abbreviations mean?
MAP – Muncie Action Plan, basically a roadmap to improving life in our community (https://www.muncieactionplan.net/about/about-muncie-action-plan)
NLC – Neighborhood Leadership Council, a program developed as part of MAP to provide leadership and organizational support for the neighborhood organizations/associations in Muncie (https://muncieneighborhoods.org/)
IDEA – Intentional Development and Education for Association, an annual conference, hosted at Ball State University and sponsored by several community entities and the NLC, set up to deliver relevant training and information to coordinate between neighborhoods and neighbors, neighborhoods and local officials, and neighborhoods and governmental entities (https://muncieneighborhoods.org/news-events-2/events/idea/).
Are you, or is someone else in your home, a future Center Point Scholar?
As part of continuing work with the Neighborhood Leadership Council, we are glad to be able to let residents know about this leadership training opportunity. Any of our residents is eligible to apply to be a Center Point Scholar and work hands-on with experts in the field to develop stronger leadership and civic skills. This one year program involves a monthly meeting, as well as some collaboration on projects that go on to be officially part of Muncie’s landscapes. This training is something particularly powerful for high school students, several of whom have applied and been accepted into the program, and the applications for next year’s program are open. Please click on the link below to learn more and submit your application. For your convenience, here is the description of the program from their website”
“CenterPoint Scholars is a year-long leadership academy designed to cultivate a cohort of dedicated resident leaders who are passionate about enhancing the quality of life in their neighborhoods. The program will follow a structured curriculum that encompasses listening, learning, implementing, and celebrating the progress made. Scholars commit to attending monthly meetings on the third Tuesday of every month, a two-day retreat in April, and working collaboratively to address issues within Muncie’s neighborhoods through a project-based approach.”
